Wyboston Lakes Hotel is embarking on a £1million bedroom refurbishment project in which is due to be completed in early 2016.

New Design

Wyboston LAtlantis Sample Bedroomakes sought the help of ‘Butterscotch Designs’ to create a concept that would offer a luxury feel, with comfort and practicality.

Sample bedrooms were created in the new designs and guests were asked for their feedback after their stay.

The hotel received 138 guest reviews and some design tweaks were made to ensure the new bedrooms offer the best experience.

The new bedroom refurbishment will really benefit our guests overall experience. It was important for us to ensure the Hotel bedrooms matched the overall leisure and spa experiences available for guests to enjoy. We wanted to remove the original corporate look and feel and create a bedroom around comfort and relaxation. We have selected the best designers and contractors to work with on this project to ensure we achieve the best possible finish.”

Mark Haynes, Director of Property

CLC Group were chosen as contractors for the first phase of refurbishments as they have a proven track record of working in live hospitality environments, whilst providing a condensed program of works allowing the new rooms to be available to guests sooner.

Recycling

Wyboston Lakes prides themselves on being eco-friendly and plan to recycle some of the furnishings to the other venues as well as donating soft furnishings and some furniture to the Cambridge charity, Emmaus.

In Room TechnologyCrave Tablet

Wyboston Lakes have also invested in infotainment tablets for all the rooms. These tablets will allow guests to view menus and order room service, book spa treatments and so much more.

The Build Schedule

The sample rooms will be finished by Autumn 2015 and the 2nd phase of bedroom refurbishments due to commence in January 2016.

This along with the planned external upgrades to the cladding on the main building will help Wyboston Lakes to prepare for achieving a 4* rating for the Hotel.

It is fantastic to have such a special working environment as well as the continued commitment of the Hutchinson family to develop the business further by investing over £1 Million back into the Hotel this year. This has helped to support the ongoing refurbishment and improvement program.”
