Make sure that you write a new CV and cover letter for each role you apply for.
Tailor it to suit Wyboston Lakes (and the hospitality industry) and tell us why you want to work with us. You can find out all about us on our website and LinkedIn so do some research.
Make sure your name and contact details are clear and at the top of your CV. Include your current phone number, home address and email address so that we know how to get in touch with you.
Do check your voicemail too as we may leave you a message to invite you for an interview.
Make sure that your work history is written in reverse chronological order with your most recent job at the top. When adding dates to your work experience make sure they are clear for example Jan 2007-Nov 2012. It is very helpful to us for you to include the month as well as the year.
Add bullet points or a short paragraph to describe each role you have had so that we can compare your experience and skills against the vacancies we have at Wyboston Lakes.
If relevant, include other interests, qualifications or experiences that support your application. is is particularly useful if you have not held many previous jobs. Don’t leave any career gaps – tell us what you were up to as it might be something we want to hear more about.
Always check your spelling and grammar and keep your CV to no more than two pages if possible.
