Everything you do should be centred around delivering exceptional service when working in hospitality.
This level of customer service requires no previous experience, you just need to be a ‘people’ person who is thoughtful, likes dealing with people, has attention to deal and is approachable.
People that choose a career in hospitality tend to be hands on, practical people.
The training that Wyboston Lakes provides is mostly on the job learning. We have a basic skills matrix for all entry level positions to ensure that everyone has the same training as each other. We also provide a blended learning approach using a mix of practical skills training alongside online training modules.
Our apprenticeship scheme allows the learner to study the theory and then apply the skills in their day to day activities in a supportive learning environment. The courses range from intermediate to management level covering both front and back of house roles.
If you are a guest facing team member it’s all about identifying the things that give our guests a memorable experience.
Our team members get involved on a day basis in thinking of ideas of ways in which we can make a special moment.
Find ways to impress, decorate bedrooms with cards and flowers for birthdays and anniversaries or design a table layout for an impact for an event.
Your career options are endless. You can move upwards, across departments, nationally or if you join a large organisation you could move internationally!
We’re all looking for the same qualities in a new recruit, someone who is passionate about people and who can deliver exceptional customer service.
