At Wyboston Lakes Technology is a point of pride and we have an onsite IT support services team available to help you. Richard is one of our IT Technicians and has given us an insight into a typical working day on site.
I usually arrive about 8.30am and check what customers are with us for the day. Then I head over to the rooms that they have booked and turn the equipment on ready for their arrival. If our customers have already arrived, I help them set up to make sure everything is working properly.
Once all the customers are happy, I look ahead at what is taking place for the rest of the week and liaise with the sales team regarding any enquiries that have come through.
The enquiries range from if a customer can do something in particular with their laptop to what capabilities we have in the conference rooms. Sometimes I need to provide a yes or a no or offer some advice for the customers.
I also check what equipment we currently have in stock, for both staff and guests. At Wyboston Lakes we like to be at the forefront with technology so if something new becomes available we like to see if we could use it here.
Weekly I liaise with our Marketing team to make sure the screen in the entrance of Wyboston Lakes is updated with new offers and events and help to ensure our electronic signage is up to date and working throughout the site.
